1977: 51 Corporate Woods®, 6 floors, 91,000 square feet was the first "high-rise" building and 55 Corporate Woods®, was the second "high-rise" building both featuring six floors catering to large tenants.
1978: First major lease (Continental Insurance - 60,000 square feet).
1979: Rezoning adds 360,000 square feet of density.
1980: On-Site Space Planning officially began by offering at no charge to tenants.
1981: 40 Corporate Woods® opens.
1982: Doubletree Hotel opens; The Shops at Corporate Woods® opens.
1983: Burlington Northern moves in (65,000 square feet).
1987: Local partners (Jones & Co.) sells to MetLife.
1988: AutoCAD® implemented for space planning.
1989: Black & Veatch moves in (96,000 square feet) 34 Corporate Woods®.
1990: New exterior graphics.
1991: New monument signs installed, 12 Corporate Woods® receives BOMA International Building of the Year Award.
1992: Rezoning adds 800,000 square feet of density (total 3,200,000 square feet).
1995: Koll replaces Jones & Co. as Manager and Leasing Agent.
1996: NYSTERS acquires Corporate Woods® from MetLife, MC Real Estate Services Inc. replaces Koll as Manager and Leasing Agent, Clarion Partners serves as Asset Manager.
1997: New master plan for northwest quadrant of the park approved, 84 Corporate Woods® ground breaking April 24, 1997.
1998: 84 Corporate Woods® dedicated October 16, 1998, 24 Corporate Woods®, a 1975 three-story building, undergoes $1.5 million renovation and expansion, New landscape master plan adopted.
1999: NYSTRS acquires 75 Corporate Woods® from General Motors. Corporate Woods® receives two Awards for Distinguished Public Service and Recreation and Park Association of Kansas.
2000: 82 Corporate Woods® ground breaking, Corporate Woods® receives Awards for the publication of "The Woods" newsletter; IREM's Marketing, Advertising & Communications of the Year; and MACY Award for large property newsletter, www.corporatewoods.com goes live.
2001: 82 Corporate Woods® dedicated August 8, 2001, our website receives an award from IREM's MACY award for non-print advertising, Overland Park Chamber of Commerce purchases site on College Boulevard and constructs new building.
2002: 82 Corporate Woods® reaches 92% occupancy with the commencement of the Midland Loan Services (largest tenant) lease (132,778 square feet), "The Woods" newsletter again receives IREM's Marketing, Advertising & Communications of the Year MACY Award for large property newsletter, CW Associates, LLC named as exclusive Leasing and Managing Agent.
2004: PGA regulation-sized putting green added just south of 82 Corporate Woods®.
2006: Stoltz Management Company announced on behalf of UCM/SREP-Corporate Woods, LLC acquisition of the Corporate Woods® office park.
2008: 27 Corporate Woods® renovated the lobby, elevators and corridor finishes, all restrooms and exterior landscape. Kansas Department of Transportation completed the construction of the Antioch interchange and widening of I-435 allowing for increased traffic flow and improved access to Corporate Woods®.
2009: Corporate Woods® receives Awards for Legacy of Greenery Committee and Continued Landscape Excellence. 12 Corporate Woods® renovated the lobby, elevators and corridor finishes. 3 Corporate Woods® renovated the lobby, elevators and corridor finishes. 55 Corporate Woods® renovated the lobby, elevators and corridor finishes.
2010: Blue Ocean Consulting implemented a new design for the www.corporatewoods.com website. 51 Corporate Woods® renovated the lobby, elevators and corridor finishes. 6 Corporate Woods® renovated the lobby, elevators and corridor finishes.
